Brief : 1. Administration
• Complete all necessary reports on off hired equipment
• To complete service reports etc
• To complete time sheets
2. Health & Safety
• Maintain the yard and workshop in a neat and tidy state in accordance with Company Maintenance procedures
• Ensure all yard/workshop equipment in safe/good working order
• Ensure safety of self and others at all times
3. Communication
• Contact with Service Manager and all location personnel.
• Contact with customers at all levels
• Contact with equipment suppliers when necessary
4. General
• Meet all of the requirements for Yard Assistant and Service Engineer
• General duties involved in hire activities and site working when required, including the use of company vehicles
• Liaise with management/sales personnel to ensure smooth installation and operation of hires.
• Ensure van clean and tidy with adequate stock on board and is maintained in accordance with Company procedures
• To complete all paperwork (including electronic) in a neat, legible and timely manner
• Attend site on installation/de-installation duties
• Standby duties on site when required
5. Equipment
• Cleaning of generators prior to hire
• Routine servicing activities
• Breakdown/fault finding at location or on site
• Plant allocation to satisfy contract requirements
